Since 1992 and every second year, the CICOP, Centro Internacional para la Conservación del Patrimonio (International Center for Heritage Conservation) has celebrated the International Congress on the Rehabilitation of Built Heritage. CICOP, that originated in Spain, in an effort to establish a base line for international cooperation focused towards education, investigation and development in the fields of preservation and conservation of the built heritage, has set up many collaboration agreements with public and private institutions, universities and research centers in all the countries that have established its national affiliate representations.

This important Congress, as a symbol of international cooperation promoted by CICOP, will present an opportunity for reflection and exchange between professionals and specialists from all over the world involved in the preservation of the built heritage.
